I promised to upload some photographs of myself wearing some of the outfits I got for a brilliant price from the local charity shop, Scope. I went on a lovely night out in town with a small group of friends wearing one of the dresses so thought I would share a few of these photos with you also…

Blue Cardigan bought for £4.00 worn with H&M dress which was £20.00 about a year ago and New Look heels.

Black sparkly dress bought for £6.00. This is in need of some gold jewellery accessorise however and I am unsure of what I am going to pair it up with.

Blue nautical themed dress bought for £4.75 with the slight tear in the side repaired. This is also the item I wore out with my hair curled also.

I’ve also had a quick play around on “www.picnik.com” which is why the photos are edited as I love the vintage look that is going around photographs at the moment with applications such as “instagram”.
Hope you’ve all had a good week so far!

Today I decided to have a quick look through some of the charity shops we have in the city as I needed a little pick-me up through all the studying but didn’t want to spend much. I was amazed by how much I found so thought I would share some of my purchases!
Firstly I went into Scope, which is a charity supporting disabled people and those suffering with Cerebral Palsy, which had a really lovely atmosphere and a wide range of clothes. My usual impression of a charity shop is mean old ladies and lots of old videos, however Scope really was fantastic! I promise to post a photograph each time I wear these items as showing them on the hanger obviously does not do the dresses justice!

1) Dress only £4.75! Yet another “going out” dress to add to my mini collection and for such a good price. I would probably usually spend £20.00 on this item!

2) I was so happy with this dress as it fits me so well and I saw it in Debenhams the week before for £30.00! I managed to get this one for £6.00!

3) A very casual cardigan however this purchase was slightly ironic, as only the day before I decided I needed a new blue one and was planning on buying a £10.00 one from H&M. Instead I got this one for £4.00 and it is much better quality and very soft! This is also my favourite colour to wear as the blue really suits me!

4) These shoes were brilliant as they are from Faith, which usually sells shoes for up to £50.00! Lovely pair of new heels for £6.00!
It turned out to be such a brilliant day getting a cheap pick me up, having some new outfits for nights out, and knowing that I was able to help others in the process!
Have you ever found any really good charity shop finds or have any secret tips for finding good items?

Stylist Pick

Hello Lovelies
Today I thought I would introduce you to a new website I have discovered called http://www.stylistpick.com/. Many of you have probably heard of it before as it is extremely unique due to the fact that you select your own fashion preferences and it chooses the designs it believes you will like most. At last a website where I do not have to scroll through hundreds of dresses to find one I love!
image
Once you have set up an account the site will ask you a number of fashion-related questions in order to recommend the most appropriate products for yourself.

After these questions it will explain how the site has summarised your look…
image
Now for my favourite section of this website…each time you log in you will have a completely different “showroom” every month, with every single item the same price. They will also display items that almost made your showroom so that you do not miss out on other products.
image
In addition to this I also receive emails constantly with discounts such as 25% off, and reminders of new additions to my showroom! Perfect for a broke, busy student!
It’s worth having a look just to answer the questions and find out your style even if you never purchase anything!
Let me know how you get on
Lots of Love

I am a bad blogger…

Yes I will hold my hands up high and admit it with a sorrowful look on my face. If I am perfectly honest I lived in a little dream world at the start of this term…spending hours scrolling through ELLE magazine, adding numerous outfits to my imaginary online Topshop basket, and rearranging my skincare routine. Now however I have to pay the price for all my laziness. By the 30th of march I have to complete…*drum roll please…*
- Two 20 minute presentations
- One 1000 word book review
- One 3000 word Marketing report
- One 2000 word Tourism report
- One three hour Economics exam
- One two hour Leadership Exam
So this explains my absence, as while I have been a failure online, I have been relatively pleased with my productivity at University! But none of you care about my excuses as you all have busy lives also so this should not matter. What does matter is that the reason I have been avoiding blogging is due to my rather large inbox (currently at 87 unread mails) from all of your lovely comments that I have to reply too. I always tried to reply to all of my inbox before putting up a new post…which has resulted in me having no time to actually pass my degree and me developing a fear for Yahoo mail. So instead I will regularly post and make a sacred promise to you all to eventually reply to every single comment in my inbox.
I promise you all no comment will remain unanswered!
Thank you for being so loyal in this time and please come back tomorrow for new posts from Miss B that will be of the quality that you deserve.
For now I will leave you with a video that always inspires me to do everything I ever dreamed of in life. It shows how important it is to take time away and see the world and keep smiling. On top of that the name of the song, is very good to represent my come back!
Miss B is still here!
Love to you all xxx
